The Broken Chain Cherry Blossom Cardinal Block is a freestanding block made from light, natural wood, adorned with a thoughtful poem. Printed design on the block depicts a cherry blossom tree on a white wood slat background. A red cardinal is perched in the tree, and black text in a mix of script and print fonts finishes the design. It reads, “The Broken Chain: you left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. By Ron Tranmer.” The back and sides of the block are unfinished for a rustic touch.
